Community Involvement
Kamloops Dance Academy is actively involved in the community. We sponsor a tree each year in the Festival of Trees event,
raising money for local charities. The smaller children in the school dance each year at various Retirement Homes in the
community for Christmas and Kamloops Dance Academy has an annual float in the Santa Claus Parade.We have danced for the
Royal Inland Hospital Telethon numerous times over the years, helping to raise money for much needed equipment. Spring brings
our annual Production at Sagebrush Theatre and a 
busy time for us at the studio. Kamloops Dance Academy has performed for
many years at various community functions such as the Genesis Fashion Show, Bikini Bills Fashion Show, Juniper and Valleyview
Days, and many High School events at schools such as Valleyview, South Kamloops Secondary and Norkam. Our summer break is
spent preparing for performances at Hot Night in the City in 2005 and it included a performance for 2700 kids at SOAR,
a nationwide Girl Guide camp in Merritt. This summer we will be performing at the Athletes Village at the Canada Games. Kamloops Dance Academy is always doing something to better our community and help
out in any way that we can.
